Beauty. Simplicity. Flavor.
These three words succinctly describe Highlands own Coral Room.
Coral Room was established in 2002 and has been a cornerstone in North Denver ever since. Coral Room has brought a creative, comfortable, and fun American Bistro to the exciting Highlands neighborhood.
Whether you are looking for a great happy hour, intimate dinner, brunch with friends, or just a unique glass of wine at the famous horseshoe shaped bar, Coral Room is the place to go.
The menus are focused on healthy, creative dishes that are value oriented. It is always the goal of the chefs to use local, all natural, and organic ingredients wherever possible.
Owner John Nadasdy moved to Colorado from the east coast in 1993 and was the chef at renowned mountain restaurants like The Grand Lake Lodge as well as The Rapids Lodge and Restaurant. Nadasdy acted as the Executive Chef for several years, but has since passed the torch to Executive Chef Greg Lyons.
Greg Lyons, hailing originally from Long Island, New York is self taught and began his career in Michigan at the Lakeville Inn. He started cooking as a way to pay for business school, but decided the culinary arts were his true calling. Greg has learned much from his mother & grandmother over the years, and he brings those family secrets with him to our kitchen. He is a master of soups, his favorite being New England Clam Chowder. Greg has a joyful spirit and is an encouraging and helpful leader.
We are so thrilled to have him leading the back of the house.
Coral Room’s hip yet simple décor, and their “come as you are” attitude, has made Coral Room a local favorite for 10 years when people want to gather and enjoy good food and great company.
We look forward to seeing you.
